About the Distillery

Thirteenth Colony Distilleries occupies a 44,000 square foot facility at 305 North Dudley Street in Americus, Georgia. It is the only craft distillery in the state of Georgia.

Initially the owners looked at several locations in South Georgia to locate the distillery. After much research, the final decision was made to locate the distillery in Americus, Georgia. "We were looking at a couple of other cities, and Americus just fit," Gil Klemann said. "I have been overwhelmed with the response of the City government. This is the most business-friendly city I have ever worked with. From the City Clerk to the City Council, everyone has bent over backwards in order to help us."
